Welcome to Illinois Summer Youth Music (ISYM)! We are proud to be celebrating our 61st anniversary this year!
ISYM is one of the most highly regarded and well known musical programs of its kind in the United States. It serves students from as young as sixth grade to graduating high school seniors.
For many, the experience directly influenced their decision to attend the University of Illinois, pursue music as a career, or maintain an appreciation of the arts into later life.
Be sure to check out the ISYM Academy . The Academy targets high-level performers who seek an even more rigorous musical experience during the summer. Enrollment will be limited to only one or two participants per instrumental or voice area.
