Activities at Illinois Summer Youth Music begin at 8:00 a.m. and end with lights out at 10:30 p.m. Daytime activities may include large or small ensemble rehearsals, sectional rehearsals, technique and repertoire classes, elective classes, and individual practice time. Evening activities include recreation such as movie night, swimming, bowling, billiards, basketball, soccer, and access to the University’s arcade games. Some evening activities will be devoted to attending a concert either at the Krannert Center, on the University’s Quad, or in another School of Music performance venue.
