Orchestral Conducting Applicants who are invited to campus will be contacted shortly after December 15 to arrange an on-campus audition date. The on-campus audition dates for 2010 will be announced in early February.
Choral Conducting Applicants who are invited to campus will be contacted shortly after December 15 to arrange an on-campus audition date. The on-campus audition dates for 2010 are will be announced in early February.
Doctorate of Music Education Applicants who are invited to campus will be contacted shortly after December 15 to arrange an on-campus interview date. The on-campus interview dates for 2010 will be announced in mid February.
Please note: All voice students auditioning at a regional site must provide their own accompanist. Percussion applicants may not audition at a regional site.
Scheduling Auditions for 2010:
Upon receipt of the Supplemental Music Application, an audition will be scheduled for you, though no auditions will be scheduled prior to November 1, 2009. The Supplemental Music Application will be available in early September.
CD recordings are accepted in lieu of a live audition. However, students admitted on the basis of recordings are not guaranteed priority consideration for merit-based aid. All CD recordings should be submitted no later than February 1. If admitted on the basis of a recorded audition, the student must perform before the division concerned no later than the fourth week of the first semester in residence.
